Ministério da Agricultura, Ambiente e Pescas invites eligible consultancy firms to express their interest in providing consulting services for the review of executive designs and supervision of construction works for two dikes located in the districts of Macanga and Moatize, Tete Province.

Project Background and Objectives

The Government of Mozambique (GoM) has received a grant from the African Development Fund to finance the Program for Integrated Development and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Zambezi River Basin (PIDACC) [Grant No.: 2100155042271, Project ID No.: P-Z1-C00-095]. A portion of these funds will be allocated toward payments under the contract for these engineering consultancy services.

Scope of Consultancy Services

The primary objective of this assignment includes, but is not limited to:

• Technical review of two executive engineering designs.

• On-site construction supervision for the building of two dikes in Macanga and Moatize districts.

The maximum estimated duration for the consultancy services is 9 months.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Method

The Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, and Fisheries invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested firms must provide comprehensive information demonstrating that they possess the necessary qualifications and experience to execute the assignment.

• Cover letter expressing interest in delivering the requested services.

• Detailed company profile describing relevant past assignments, experience under similar operating conditions, and core technical competencies.
