Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa, S.A. (HCB) invites specialized companies with proven experience in passenger transportation to submit their Expressions of Interest for the procurement of external land transport services, covering both vehicles and manpower, for HCB personnel traveling along the Tete City – Matambo route and vice-versa.

Located in northwestern Mozambique, with headquarters in Songo and operational facilities in Matambo, Tete City, Chimoio, and Maputo, the major energy producer seeks to contract an experienced partner capable of ensuring safe, comfortable, and reliable daily commuting conditions for its workforce.

Eligibility and Mandatory Documentation

To participate in the selection process, interested companies must strictly comply with the following minimum eligibility requirements:

1. A valid Operating License (Alvará) and Commercial Registration Certificate (Certidão de Registo Comercial), along with all standard legal documentation authorizing commercial operations in Mozambique.

2. Complete corporate shareholding structure and updated Articles of Association (Estatutos).

3. Formal declaration confirming that no bankruptcy, insolvency, or judicial recovery proceedings are currently pending against the firm.

4. Valid Tax and Social Security Clearance Certificates issued by competent authorities (Finanças and INSS) confirming full compliance.

5. Corporate profile highlighting previous operational experience in collective passenger transport services, backed by recommendation letters (cartas abonatórias).

6. Financial statements and accounting reports for the last three (3) fiscal years, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and annual tax declarations.

Note: If the clearance certificates or insolvency declarations mentioned in points 3 and 4 have been requested from the relevant government authorities but not yet received before the deadline, applicants must attach official proof of application.
