Electricidade de Moçambique, E.P. (EDM) invites eligible individual consultants to express their interest in providing consultancy services as an Individual Consultant for the Assessment, Conception, and Drafting of an Implementation Roadmap for the EDM Customer GIS Mapping Structure and System Integration (Ref. No. MZ-EDM-554198-CS-INDV).

This selection process falls under the "Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy Access Transformation" (ASCENT) project (Process No. IDA-D9340), funded through financing requested by the Government of Mozambique from the World Bank. The consultancy contract is for a fixed term with an estimated total duration of twelve (12) months, during which the selected consultant must complete five key missions.

To be considered qualified, interested individual consultants must demonstrate relevant qualifications, training, and professional experience, including:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, supplemented by experience in Business Administration.

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in project coordination, registration, designation, and management of electrical grid assets, as well as generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

• Proven experience in digitization project management, remote equipment monitoring, and centralized database implementation.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing integrated management systems, including Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS), Workforce Management (WFM), and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

• Experience in implementing similar projects in Africa, strong overall service coordination capabilities, project team leadership, organizational skills, high fluency in written and spoken English, and working knowledge of Portuguese.
