Enabel - Agência Belga de Desenvolvimento, the Belgian development agency executing governmental cooperation in Mozambique, launches a Call for Proposals under Reference MOZ22005-10074 within the framework of Result 5 (Sustainable Waste Management) of the 'Junt@s4Clima' Programme.

This grant call aims to fund projects that strengthen waste collection services across the municipalities of Nampula and Nacala. The initiative focuses on fostering women-led business development to boost female participation and economic empowerment within the local waste management sector.

Eligible applicants include national or international non-governmental organizations, foundations, and community-based organizations legally established or with a formal presence in Mozambique. Applicants must demonstrate proven experience in the dual domains of women's economic empowerment and waste management.

The deadline for submitting concept notes is set for September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM Mozambique time.
