Instituto de Amêndoas de Moçambique, IP (IAM, IP) invites interested and eligible suppliers to submit expressions of interest alongside their formal price quotations for the supply of a industrial food dehydrator.

Launched under Quotation Tender No. 35D002041/CC/00017/2026, this procurement initiative supports the international project "Enhancing the Utilization of Cashew Apple for Climate Resilient, Increased Income and Food Security of Smallholder Farmers in Tanzania and Mozambique," implemented in collaboration with the Tanzania Agricultural Research (TARI) and funded by GIZ MOVE-ComCashew. The requested equipment is designated for the Nassuruma Cashew Processing Unit, located in Nampula Province.

The tender specifications require one (1) food dehydrator unit meeting the following technical characteristics:

• Model: AGHD-10LB

• Power & Electrical Parameters: 1.3 kW normal power, 6A nominal input current, 220V / 1 / 50Hz/60Hz voltage and frequency

• Operating Capacity: 75°C control temperature with a dehumidification capacity of 3.5 L/H

• Physical Dimensions: Equipment size of 1370 x 700 x 1610 mm (packaging: 1510 x 790 x 1690 mm)

• Tray Details: 800 x 600 mm trays manufactured from 304 stainless steel

Legally grounded under Article 34 of the Regulation on Public Works Contracting, Goods Supply, and Service Provision to the State (enacted by Decree No. 79/2022 of December 30), the selection process evaluates compliant technical and financial offers.

Proposals must be submitted to the Nampula Provincial Delegation of IAM, IP, located at Avenida 25 de Setembro, No. 1198/1200, during regular business hours. Quotations must be delivered within five (5) days following the official launch date of August 19, 2026, placing the final submission cutoff on August 24, 2026.
