Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique, E.P. (CFM) invites interested eligible companies to present their proposals for Public Tender No. 05/DAL-CFM/2026, which covers the supply of new lift units and technical repair services for existing building infrastructure in Maputo City.

Scope of the Tender and Lot Breakdown

This public procurement procedure is structured into two main operational lots:

• Lot I: Supply of two (02) elevators for the CFM residential/administrative buildings located along Avenida 24 de Julho.

• Lot II: Repair and restoration of one (01) elevator at the Directorate of Information and Communication Technologies (Direcção de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação).

Document Acquisition and Financial Requirements

Interested bidders may purchase the complete set of Bidding Documents (Documentos de Concurso) directly from the Procurement and Logistics Directorate (Direcção de Aquisições e Logística).

• Acquisition Fee: Non-refundable fee of 2,500.00 MT (Two thousand five hundred meticais).

• Provisional Guarantee: Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Security (Garantia Provisória) amounting to 250,000.00 MT (Two hundred and fifty thousand meticais), which must remain valid for 90 days.

Submission Deadline, Mandatory Site Visit, and Opening Session

The institutional announcement extends the deadline for proposal delivery as follows:

• Mandatory Site Visit: A mandatory site inspection will take place on August 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The official meeting point for participants is the address indicated below.

• Submission Deadline: Physical proposals must be delivered to the physical address no later than 10:00 AM on August 18, 2026. Bids received after this cutoff will be automatically rejected and returned unopened.

• Public Opening Session: Proposals will be opened in a public session in the presence of bidders or their official representatives who choose to attend on August 18, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
