Serviço Distrital de Planeamento e Infra-estruturas de Mandlakazi invites eligible corporate and individual entities to submit sealed proposals for civil construction works aimed at improving local road connectivity within Gaza Province.

This public procurement procedure is conducted under Public Tender No. 04J090041/CP/UGEA/01/2026, in accordance with Article 35 of the Regulation on Public Works Contracts, Supply of Goods, and Provision of Services to the State, approved by Decree No. 79/2022, of December 30.

Scope of Works and Estimated Contract Value

The contract covers civil engineering works for the construction of a simple wet crossing (vented ford/drift) and localized improvements on the unpaved road section connecting Chicomo "A" to Chicomo "B" (Construção de uma passagem molhada simples e melhoramento localizado de estrada terraplanada N/C, de Chicomo "A" à Chicomo "B").

• Estimated Contract Value: 1,900,000.00 MT.

• Proposal Validity Period: Bids must remain valid for 90 days from the proposal opening date.

Bidding Documents and Acquisition Fees

• Document Acquisition Fee: Non-refundable fee of 2,500.00 MT (two thousand five hundred meticais).

Mandatory Site Visits

Participation in the site inspection is mandatory for all competing contractors:

• Primary Scheduled Visit: Scheduled for September 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Bidders must assemble at the building of the Servicio Distrital de Planeamento e Infra-estruturas on Av. Eduardo Mondlane, Bairro 25 de Junho, Mandlakazi Town.

• Exceptional Alternate Visit: Bidders unable to attend on the primary date may conduct an exceptional site visit on September 15, 2026. All travel costs for the contracting authority’s personnel must be fully covered by the interested bidder.

Submission Guidelines and Public Opening Ceremony

Physical proposals must be securely sealed (waxed or closed) and delivered to the district procurement unit.

• Submission Cut-off Time: August 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

• Public Opening Session: Proposals will be opened publicly on September 18, 2026, at 10:15 AM at the contracting authority's office.
